What is this blog about?

What is this blog about? It started as a sort of journal about the journey I thought I was taking - one of weight loss. You see, my wife inspired me to finally change my ways, get off the couch and start working on being healthy. I'm selling it short, but that's the gist of it. In any case, the efforts I made to lose weight resulted in developing a love for fitness, and I've decided to carry on with it.

Loser's Log - Supplemental (-2#)

Offcycle report, yeah I know.  I've got some things going on and I wanted to get a couple things down.
  1. Trip to Philly again on Wednesday.  Good opportunity to ruin my diet.  Don't do it.
  2. House for sale.  Gotta sell before we can buy.  Wife is CRAZY.  Stress city.  Potential weight-loss disaster.
  3. 3 day camping trip next weekend.  I think there'll be s'mores.  I know there'll be beer.  MUST BEHAVE.
  4. 3 day trip to Houston on the 18th.  Texas is the home to the holy trinity of BBQ - ribs, sausage and brisket.  I can resist sugar. . .unless it's slathered in a rich tangy sauce on a slow cooked piece of meat.  DANGER.
Yeah, it's gonna be a rough couple of weeks to get through.  Very much out of my routine.  A whole lot of temptation coming my way - time to flex the ole self-control muscles, maybe think about learning a nice way of telling people to piss off.  I'm planning on mitigating as I can - hopefully the hotel will have a gym too.  That'd be nice.  I can do some of my routine in my room if nothing else.  Body weight is better than nothing - i'll just up the reps.  LOOK FOR WHATEVER OPPORTUNITY YOU CAN.

In other news, i'm hitting the gym hard this week.  Trying to get that extra few pounds this month, especially before I head into this temptation zone.  Down another 2 already this week. . .huzzah!  Probably means I won't see any loss on Monday, but oh well - i'll still take it.  Gotta get to goal man, gotta get to goal.
