So straight out of the gate, i'm going to admit the truth - I avoided you last week. I went to the gym, I weighed in. It wasn't good. I was up two pounds. I can't imagine why - I hadn't broken my diet, I hadn't stopped with the gym. . .I was doing everything I was supposed to be doing and NOT doing things I SHOULDN'T have been doing. So what happened? Why the gain? No idea. It was embarassing though, and I didn't know what to say. . .so I said nothing.
But! Yes, BUT!!!! Redemption was achieved! I am back to where I was before! I have, over the last two weeks, a net loss (or gain) of zero! That's what's important, right? I did change things up a bit. I went from 20 pound weights x 2 to 25 pound weights x 2. I changed my cardio from a 2.5@80RPM / .5@100RPM / 2@75RPM elliptical routine to a .5@100RPM / 1@75RPM routine. Higher impact apparently paid dividends. I'm hoping that it continues to work. I'm also looking to cut some calories from my diet in addition to what i'm currently doing in the hopes that between the two i'll meet my goal by the end of next month. Kinda weird to think that I only have 8 weeks left to go to meet my goal. That's pretty tight considering I still have 14 pounds to go. Only a single week's leeway if I fall off my 2 pounds per week trend. Gotta stay focused - not much longer now!
