What is this blog about?
What is this blog about? It started as a sort of journal about the journey I thought I was taking - one of weight loss. You see, my wife inspired me to finally change my ways, get off the couch and start working on being healthy. I'm selling it short, but that's the gist of it. In any case, the efforts I made to lose weight resulted in developing a love for fitness, and I've decided to carry on with it.

Holy Shnikes! (-4#)
Well that came out of left field! I changed my cardio routine to a more rigorous HIIT regimine. I only do 20 minutes, but I go 1:30@75 RPM and then :30@asfastasIcango RPM. I don't get bored with it because I'm constantly changing gears, plus it appears to work really well. I am definitely pleased. Yesterday I even switched out the 10 minutes I spend warming up on a treadmill before resistance training doing the HIIT routine on the eliptical instead. I almost died lifting, so I'm going to say it was a great workout.
