What is this blog about?

What is this blog about? It started as a sort of journal about the journey I thought I was taking - one of weight loss. You see, my wife inspired me to finally change my ways, get off the couch and start working on being healthy. I'm selling it short, but that's the gist of it. In any case, the efforts I made to lose weight resulted in developing a love for fitness, and I've decided to carry on with it.

The Plague (-2#)

Down another two pounds since Wednesday last.  That's not bad all things considered.

Thursday we hit the pool for a couple of hours of family fun time.  A good time was had by all.  I've never been so exhausted in all my life afterwards though.  Funny how I never felt it while we were there, but as soon as I got dressed. . .nappy time.  No gym though.

Friday I got a tetanus shot.  My arm is *still* sore, though I didn't cry like a girl or pass out at the needle so i'm going to notch one into the win category.  No gym.

Saturday, woke up with a cold.  Nasty thing too - so congested my nose is literally useless.  The upshot is that I did go to the gym that day, and it worked out well.  IDK if it was the endorphin or what, but while I was there I felt better.  I recommend it.

Sunday, no gym, the whole family was rocking the death plague so we went and had chinese buffet for dinner instead of cooking.  Stayed away from breaded food, rice, etc, but god knows what they put in the sauce on the hunan beef, princess chicken or beef & broccoli.  Chicken skewers!  All I wanted was ONE crab meat cheese. . .  No gym though.

Yeah, all things considered I'd say two pounds lost is a pretty big win.
