Well, I guess I did forget to tell somebody after all - I was on vacation for the last week or so. The diet was put on hold, the workouts suspended. The weigh-ins postponed indefinitely :-) It was necessary. It also wasn't as enjoyable as I had envisioned. I think in part because I didn't go crazy. I was disciplined in my indulgence. I imagine that when I'm done that's how life will be normally. We shall see.
So getting back to reality, I think it's clear i'm going to change my workout, but i've been having some other health concerns lately and I am inclined to think they're diet related. I'm going to try changing that as well to see if that clears up my achy-breaky heart issues and then we'll go from there. My plan is to go to more of a calorie-counting based dietary plan. It's *not* what I want to do - I want to be able to eat when i'm hungry, that was a big factor in choosing atkins - but I fear that there may have been deficiencies not clearly demarcated in the fine print of the atkins handbook. This will likely bring those to light if they do exist. If not. . .we'll see.
Cardio. A lot of it. Weights. A lot of them. Time to get back to it. Time to KICK IT TO THE MAX. Yeah, that's right. I said it. So what?
