So it was very strange yesterday. I stepped up on the scales (twice!) and it kept bouncing, without stopping, between a 1 and 2 pound loss. Now, what I think is that since the scales don't do half pounds, it was torn between putting up a 1 or a 2, and so never put up either. I'm certain i'm ascribing more personality than a scale is capable of, but there it is. Keep in mind too, the scales were moved around a lot over the weekend for a weight lifting competition and weren't recalibrated when they got back and set up (I watched!). I could actually have lost nothing or three pounds - who knows? In the end, my wife put it simply, "those scales weigh heavy anyway - take the two." so I did. Next time it happens i'll go the stingy route instead of the generous route. . .balance the scales so to speak :-)
In other news, that's 70% of my goal. I'm starting to plan a "what will I eat the day I decide i'm goal" menu. I know that it will entail a lot of cookies with peanut butter, taco bell, pizza, and cheesecake. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has an idea on something decadent and just stupid to eat. Consider the following:
Maybe instead of Taco Bell i'll get a quessadilla from Qdoba. After I have about 18 full flavor beers. That is going to be such a good day. Can't wait to see you there!
